Jeff & Jo, On the Go: Stuffies in Africa, Monkey Pools edition

Hi! Its Jeff and Jo again. We heard that our last post was pretty good, and some people wanted to have us say more. So we decided to tell you guys about our trip to Muka Munya / Monkey Pools.

We walk down into the valley and find a really pretty spot where we could take a break.
After some exploration, we found a really nice pool. We didn't go swimming, though; we forgot our towels.
We found a cool rock to go climbing on. It was scary: we were almost 6 feet off the ground!
We went on a long hike throughout the area. Follow the red trail!
We were very tired so a nice lady picked us up and carried us back to the entrance.

So there you have it:

Jeff & Jo On the Go:

Monkey Pools

Ed Note: Muka Munya is a new high-end development going in near where we are staying outside Lusaka that includes a large area of open space, including a spring-fed stream filling many beautiful pools which I am sure were created but a while ago, as it all looks very natural. The Monkey Pools area of the development includes a clubhouse, tennis courts, and a swimming pool and is open to residents of the development and to the public (for a fee). Apparently it's very crowded on the weekends. Ian, Theo, and Katie biked there from our house and spent the afternoon alone on the property. It was gorgeous.
