Jeff & Joe on the Go: Stuffies in Africa.

Hello there! My name's Jeff and I am on a vacation in Zambia.
Hi! I'm Jo and I am Jeff's best friend. I am going with him on the trip.
Today we are going to tell you about our camping trip in the the bush, the African word for wilderness

We finally arrive at Mapunga Bush Camp after a long day of driving.

We sign in to the camp and walk around a bit
We are now officially Mammals of the Kafue National Park!
We admire some of the skulls they have collected. This one is a hippo's.
Buffalo
Roan (a type of antelope)
Sleepy time!
In the morning we pack up and hit the road.
We read our book while our friend drives us to our next camp.
Eventually our friend has to go to a meeting, so we drop him off and continue on our merry way.
We help prepare food with our friends at the camp. The food we made tasted very good.
We also had pineapple juice that was really good.
We made a huge fire that was very warm.
Another night that we are glad for a warm sleeping bag.
In the morning we get up and brush our teeth.
We get a big drink of water before leaving for a game drive.

On our game drive we saw a lot of antelope, mostly lechwe and puku, plus LOTS of hippos.
We also saw this lechwe skull when looking at the animals
Looking through binoculars at the papyrus. I think we saw a bird.

THE NEXT DAY

We enter the new lodge where we are staying and look around.

After we get situated, we go out to play football.
There is a big baobab tree near to camp called the Nkondakamwale.
Listening to music before bed.
Our bed has a bug net! no more of those pesky mosquitoes!
We eat lunch with some people also from America. What are the chances!?

Ha! More skulls!

Thank you for hearing about our trip! See you next time on Jeff & Jo on the Go: Stuffies In Africa
